Spring has arrived...

I thought Winter would never end!  And it was a horrid Winter here in Saskatchewan and pretty much all across Canada.  Way too cold and it just would not quit snowing.  It was almost a daily chore to get out the snow shovel and clear the sidewalks and, finally, by the end of February, I gave up trying to keep the city walk clean.  It was enough to try to keep my private yard walks and driveway clear.  And, at times, I had to give up on the driveway.
So now, with the long awaited Spring, comes more work!  They always say, "Be careful what you wish for" and that's very true.  Now there's just more yard work to start in on.  I have the entire yard raked but now there's flower beds to dig up, weeds are running rampant in my lawn so I need to spray the whole yard to get rid of them, and the grass just keeps growing and growing.
But, needless to say, it's just so nice to be able to open the doors and windows and walk outside without dressing with 30 lbs of outerwear trying to keep warm.
I'm trying to juggle crocheting, sewing and yardwork so there's always something go keep me (too) busy.  With all that I'm still trying to clean out 'stuff' and not doing a very good job of it.  Oh, well, I'll just pick away at it and it will get done...sometime.
I've been sewing the cutest little ruffled sunsuits and have more fabric sitting on my table for 3 more this week.  These are my latest effort and they can be found at http://www.prettypelican.etsy.com or, if you want to buy directly, just leave me a note in comments.
